Safety first

Using RoxEssential 100% pure essential oils (EO)

Pure essential oils must not be applied directly to the skin, they should be diluted with a carrier oil if being directly applied to the skin. Alternatively you can enjoy their phenomenal aromas by applying to the following:

  • Burner: Fill the top dish with water & add a few drops of your chosen essential oil to create a calming atmosphere in your space. 
  • Diffuser: Add a few drops in a diffuser to disperse the aroma throughout the room, promoting relaxation or invigoration depending on the blend.
  • Homemade skincare: Be sure to dilute our essential oils safely. For 2% add 4 drops of EO to 10ml carrier oil or your moisturiser.
  • Home cleaning: Add 1 teaspoon white vinegar followed by up to 12 drops of EO then fill cooled, boiled water to a 250ml Amber, glass water bottle spray.

  • Pets: Some Essential oils are TOXIC to animals. Please use with caution.
  • Pregnancy: Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Misc: Essential Oils are not suitable for consumption, keep away from eyes, not to be ingested or used internally. Not to be applied directly to skin.

  • Dilution: If you are NOT using a blend, consider diluting the 100% essential oil with a carrier oil such as Jojoba oil or sweet almond before application.

Many oils contain saturated fats or specific fatty acids that have higher melting points, causing them to solidify when exposed to cooler environments. However, this solidification is a temporary state. Once returned to room temperature, these oils typically liquefy quickly, regaining their original consistency and usability. This natural process does not affect the quality or efficacy of the oils, making them safe and effective for use once they have returned to a liquid state.

* Storing essential oils and blends away from direct sunlight is crucial to maintaining their potency and extending their shelf life. Exposure to sunlight, particularly UV rays, can degrade the chemical composition of essential oils, leading to a loss of their therapeutic properties and fragrance. To ensure their longevity, it's best to keep these oils in dark, cool places, such as a cabinet or drawer, and ideally in dark-colored glass bottles that further protect against light exposure. Additionally, maintaining a consistent temperature and avoiding extreme heat or cold can help preserve the integrity of the oils. Proper storage not only protects your investment but also ensures that the oils remain effective for future use.
